Local Working Group Meeting

The Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District invites the public to participate in its annual locally-led working group meeting.

The meeting will be held via ZOOM at 12 p.m. Sept. 2nd, 2021.

Interested participants are encouraged to CLICK HERE to fill out and submit a ranking sheet online. The ranking sheet will have categories with resource concerns for each category. The top 10 concerns will be ranked from 1 to 10 with 1 being the most important concern.

Local Working Groups are composed of agricultural producers, owners/operators of nonindustrial private forest land, professionals representing agricultural and natural resource interests, and individuals representing a variety of disciplines in the soil, water, wetland, plant, forestry, and wildlife sciences who are familiar with agricultural and natural resource issues in the local community. The purpose of the group is to provide input on the wide range of natural resource and agricultural resource concerns for Brown County.
